Alchemy Summer Studio

Alchemy Summer Studio is a free virtual two-week summer experience designed to keep learners in grades 6-8 engaged, curious, and having fun. Through dynamic projects with targeted goals and opportunities for reflection, we empower learners to use their strengths and interests to solve challenges that matter to them.

Online & Offline

Connect with peers and Certified Coaches in synchronous and asynchronous online sessions and check-ins.

Daily Challenges

Participating learners get 2-4 hours worth of activities each day, all connected to a interdisciplinary studio challenge. Design Kits are shipped directly to each participant. Using a Playlist, students determine the pace of their tasks and work both online and offline.

Community

We cultivate a sense of belonging, connectedness, and well-being, despite our physical distances in Collective, a virtual circle where we come together to focus on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy.

In our Chat and Chew series, learners meet with professionals to learn more about creative careers.

Support

Alchemy Coaches host live sessions on Mondays and Fridays and learners receive feedback throughout the week. We offer live check-ins with coaches and peer-support "huddles." At the end of the challenge, we host an online "Learning Celebration," allowing students to reflect, celebrate and share learning with peers.
